Terms of service
Last updated September 25, 2026
These terms cover the use of sponsormyprofile.com. By listing your X account, paying for a sponsorship, or using the site, you agree to them. Questions: hello@sponsormyprofile.com.
1. What SponsorMyProfile is
sponsormyprofile.com is a marketplace for pinned-post sponsorships on X. Creators list their X profile and a price for one day. Sponsors book a run of days and pay that price for each of them to have a post of their choice pinned to the top of the creator's profile. On the site a Creator is called a builder, and, inside a booked deal, the host.
Each builder is the seller. Payment goes to the builder's Stripe account; we take a 10% fee on the way, and Stripe's processing fees come out of the payment as well. The sponsor pays the listed price and nothing on top. We hold nothing. The sponsorship itself is a deal between the creator and the sponsor. We are not a party to it. The creator's approval of the request is the agreement, and section 6 says what it holds them to.
sponsormyprofile.com is operated from Singapore.
2. Who can use it
You must be at least 18 and able to enter contracts. Sponsors confirm that they buy sponsorships solely in the course of business, for advertising a business, product, or service. The site is not for personal or household purchases.
Creators must personally control the X account they list. Listing an account you do not control is fraud and we remove it.
3. Accounts and identity
Creators verify their X account when they list it. Sponsors do not need an account: the email address given on the request form identifies the sponsor, and the private request link we mail to it follows and manages the deal. Keep that link secret; anyone who has it can see and change the deal's post. When login is available, that same email is the login identity.
You are responsible for what happens through your links, logins, and listings.
You can delete your account from Settings. Bookings and banner spots are kept in anonymised form for accounting; everything else about you is erased.
4. Listings
Listing is free. A creator sets a price per day between $1 and $66. For larger deals, email us.
Creators promise that the follower counts and other numbers they provide are accurate. Numbers we could not verify are shown as provided by the creator. We may remove or refuse any listing at any time, with or without notice, including for inaccurate numbers, impersonation, or content we do not want on the marketplace.
When a creator verifies with X, we read their public profile and statistics about their recent posts through the X API: follower and following counts, verification status, account age, bio, and recent posts' impressions, likes, and profile clicks. We store these numbers and show the audience-relevant ones publicly on the listing. Creators can refresh them from the dashboard; we do not read private messages and we cannot post or change anything on X.
A creator can pause or remove a listing by emailing us. Removal does not cancel deals that are already paid.
5. Requesting, approval and payment
A sponsor asks for a start date and a number of days at the builder's day rate. All prices are in US dollars. Nothing is charged when the request is sent, and the dates are not held while it waits.
The creator has 48 hours to approve, decline or reply. A request nobody answers expires. An approval sends the sponsor a payment link that is good for 24 hours; a request that is not paid inside that window expires unpaid. Payment is by card through Stripe, on the builder's own Stripe account, and is charged in full. If two approved requests want the same days, the first payment takes them and the second is refunded in full straight away. The charge appears on the card statement as the creator’s Stripe business name followed by SPONSORMYP. The sponsor receives a receipt from Stripe.
The payment goes to the builder's own Stripe account and we hold nothing. A booking means exactly one thing: the sponsor's approved post stays pinned to the top of the creator's X profile from the start date to the end date. Both sides see those dates on the booking and in the agreement.
6. The sponsorship agreement
The creator's approval is the agreement. Approving states what the creator promises: to put the placement up within 24 hours of the start date, to keep it up until the end date, and to mark it as sponsored content. We store the approval with a timestamp and the version of the agreement text that was in force. The agreement is between the creator and the sponsor.
Deals booked before requests existed carry a written agreement page on this site that both sides signed by typing their name. Those signatures stand, and the promises are the same.
7. Delivery and when payment becomes final
The creator must pin the sponsor's post within 24 hours of the start date and keep it pinned until the end date.
The builder marks the placement live. Once it is live, the sponsor's payment becomes final.
Not live within 24 hours of the start date, or of payment if that is later, means an automatic full refund. The refund is made from the creator's Stripe account. The automatic refunds are these three: a placement that is not live in time, each post that is not up when the posts window closes, and the later payment when two sponsors have paid for the same days. Any other refund is between the sponsor and the builder.
Posts are different, because an order is several of them. The creator must put each post up within the window shown on the order, counted from the payment: 7, 14 or 30 days. Each post carries X's Paid Partnership label, and how long it stays up after that is between the sponsor and the creator. When the window closes, any post that was not put up is refunded at the price one post was sold for, automatically and from the creator's Stripe account, and the order is finished with what was posted. Posts that did go up are paid for and final.
8. If a creator removes the pin early
If a creator removes a paid pin before the end date and does not restore it promptly:
- The creator forfeits the payment for the rest of the term, refunded from their own Stripe account.
- The creator's listing is removed from the marketplace.
- The sponsor's payment remains final as far as we are concerned. We do not owe the sponsor a refund, because our role, running the booking, was completed. What the creator owes is in the first bullet.
- The sponsor's remedy is against the creator under the sponsorship agreement the creator agreed to and broke.
SponsorMyProfile holds no money and makes no refunds from its own funds. SponsorMyProfile may make a refund that these terms require on the builder's Stripe account, by hand if the automatic refund fails. Any other refund is between the sponsor and the builder.
9. Sponsor spots
Sponsor spots are a deal between the sponsor and the builder. The sponsor pays the builder's own Stripe account; SponsorMyProfile provides the tools and receives a 10% platform fee, taken from the price as the payment goes through; Stripe's processing fees are the builder's. The builder is responsible for placing the logo, keeping it up for the paid time, and disclosing it with the sponsored tag on the artwork and the disclosure line in their bio. The sponsor is responsible for the product being lawful and allowed on X. SponsorMyProfile does not hold the money and is not a party to the deal. One refund is automatic: a spot not live within 24 hours of the start date is refunded in full from the builder's Stripe account. Any other refund is the builder's decision in their own Stripe. To the fullest extent the law allows, SponsorMyProfile is not liable to either side for anything arising from a sponsor spot.
10. Sponsor artwork
Artwork is the image a sponsor supplies for a spot on a builder's banner or for the whole banner. The sponsor confirms that they own the artwork or hold the rights to use it for the deal, and that it follows the rules. We do not check who owns it.
The builder may decline artwork they do not want on their banner. We may remove artwork from the site at any time.
11. Creator obligations
Creators must:
- pin the exact post supplied by the sponsor, without edits, within 24 hours of the start date, and keep it pinned until the end date;
- turn on X's Paid Partnership label on the pinned post, and follow the advertising disclosure rules that apply to them;
- provide accurate audience numbers;
- connect their own Stripe account before they can accept a request, and keep its details correct;
- handle their own taxes on what they earn.
Creators may decline any sponsor or post before payment is made. After payment, the deal stands unless both sides agree otherwise.
12. Sponsor obligations
Sponsors must:
- supply a post that is legal, accurate, and follows the X rules;
- supply content that follows X's Paid Partnerships Policy, including the categories it prohibits and its country rules;
- not supply content that is misleading, that infringes anyone's rights, or that advertises products or services that are illegal in Singapore or in the audience's market, including content that is sexual, gambling-related without required licences, or otherwise restricted;
- accept that we and the creator can each refuse a post; a refused request is never charged, and a paid deal whose pin never goes live is refunded in full;
- accept that payment is final once the pin is live.
13. What we do not promise
We sell a placement: a defined post pinned on a defined profile for defined dates. We do not promise or sell impressions, views, clicks, engagement, followers, sales, or any other result. Audience numbers shown on listings are inputs for the sponsor's own judgement, not a promise of performance.
X is not our platform. We are not responsible for X outages, account suspensions, feature changes, or reach changes. If X suspends a creator's account mid-month, we treat it like an early pin removal under section 8, except that the creator does not forfeit the payment when the suspension was outside their control. SponsorMyProfile holds no money and does not decide a split: a refund for the days not delivered is between the sponsor and the builder.
14. How builders are paid
Builders are paid by Stripe, into their own Stripe account, at the moment the sponsor pays. SponsorMyProfile never holds the money and never pays it out.
The 10% platform fee is taken from the payment as it goes through. Stripe's processing fee is charged on the builder's account at the builder's own rate.
A refund of a payment is made from the builder's Stripe account, and reverses our fee in the same proportion as the amount refunded.
When the money reaches the builder's bank is set by the payout schedule of the builder's own Stripe account.
Taxes on what a builder earns are the builder's own.
15. Chargebacks and payment disputes
Card disputes are handled on the builder's Stripe account, as the builder is the seller. SponsorMyProfile provides the deal record and the agreement as evidence. A lost dispute is debited from the builder's Stripe account, including Stripe's dispute fee, and the platform fee is not returned. A sponsor who disputes a charge for a deal that was delivered as agreed breaks these terms.
16. Our role in disagreements
Disagreements about the sponsorship itself, for example about the post's content or an early removal, are between the creator and the sponsor under their agreement. We are not obliged to mediate, though we may choose to. Sections 7 and 8 already fix what happens to the payment, and those rules apply regardless of the outcome between the parties.
17. Acceptable use
Do not: misrepresent who you are or what you control; manipulate or fabricate audience numbers; create fake demand or fake offers; scrape the site; probe or break its security; upload malware; use the site for anything illegal. We may suspend or remove any listing, deal participant, or login that breaks these rules, in serious cases without notice.
18. Content and media
Sponsors keep ownership of the posts and media they supply and give the creator permission to publish them on X for the deal, and give us permission to store and show them to the parties and to use them to run the deal. Creators keep ownership of their own profiles and content. We keep all rights to the site, its software, name, and design.
If both sides opt in, we may show a paid deal publicly, naming the creator, the sponsor, the dates, and the price. Without both opt-ins we show nothing that identifies the parties.
19. Data
We store what the deal needs: handles, emails, prices, posts, media, approvals, and payment status. Card details go to Stripe, not to us. The privacy policy explains the rest.
20. No warranty
The site is provided as is. We work to keep it fast, secure, and available, but we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free service.
21. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows: our total liability to a sponsor or creator for any claim connected to a deal is limited to the fee we earned on that deal; our total liability for any other claim is limited to one hundred US dollars. We are not liable for indirect, special, or consequential loss, including lost profits, lost business, or lost data. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, and nothing in these terms limits the rights of a person dealing as a consumer under laws that protect consumers.
22. Indemnity
If your content, your conduct, or your breach of these terms or of a sponsorship agreement causes a claim against us by anyone, you will cover our losses and reasonable costs from that claim. For sponsors this includes claims about the content of their post. For creators this includes claims arising from removing a paid pin early or listing an account they do not control.
23. Ending things
You can stop using the site at any time. Creators can ask us to remove their listing and, once their deals are settled, their data. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms. Deals already paid are wound up under sections 7 and 8.
If we shut the marketplace down, we will give at least 14 days notice on the site. SponsorMyProfile holds no money, so bookings already paid stay between the sponsor and the builder.
24. Changes
We may update these terms. Changes appear on this page with a new date. A change applies to deals booked and listings accepted after it takes effect; the version you accepted governs deals made under it.
25. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of Singapore. Talk to us first: most problems are fixed by email. Any dispute that cannot be settled informally will be resolved exclusively in the courts of Singapore.
