Money

You pay after the builder approves. The builder has 48 hours to approve. You then have 24 hours to pay.

Every booking is paid to the builder directly through Stripe, on the builder's own Stripe account. The price you see is the price you pay. A builder who has not connected Stripe cannot accept requests.

Example: on a $100 booking SponsorMyProfile takes $10 (10%). The builder receives $90, minus Stripe's processing fee at the rate of their own Stripe account.

An automatic refund comes from the builder's Stripe account. SponsorMyProfile returns its 10% on the refunded amount. Stripe does not return its processing fee, and that cost is the builder's.

Any other refund is between the sponsor and the builder.

Card disputes are handled on the builder's Stripe account, as the builder is the seller. SponsorMyProfile provides the deal record and the agreement as evidence. A lost dispute is debited from the builder's Stripe account, including Stripe's dispute fee, and the platform fee is not returned.

Pins

Live means the sponsor's post is pinned at the top of the builder's X profile and the builder has marked it live. Not live within 24 hours of the start date, or of payment if that is later: automatic full refund.

Banner

Live means the sponsor's logo is on the builder's X banner and the builder has marked it live. Where the logo goes on the banner is the builder's choice. Not live within 24 hours of the start date, or of payment if that is later: automatic full refund.

Posts

Posts are ordered by the number of them rather than by dates. Live means the builder has put the post up on X and marked it posted with a link to it. The window is the one shown on the order, set by the builder and counted from the payment. Every post that is not up when the window closes is refunded automatically, at the price one post was sold for. How long a post stays up after it has gone up is between the sponsor and the creator.

Not accepted

Pinned posts and posts sold here are paid partnerships under X's Paid Partnerships Policy, and the banner follows the same rules. X does not allow these categories:

Finance, crypto and gambling: X allows them except in Australia, the European Union and the United Kingdom, where they are not eligible. A builder there, or with an audience there, will decline them.

X counts money, gifts, affiliate links or codes and ambassador deals as a paid partnership. The post itself must name the product or its call to action, not hide it behind a link. X's policy also makes the creator responsible for the advertising law that applies to them, such as the FTC's endorsement guides in the US, and asks for a clear and prominent disclosure in the UK. For a breach X may remove the post, put the account in read-only mode or suspend it, and act against the brand for repeated breaches.

The builder can decline any request.

Disclosure

Every placement booked here is paid, and X requires a paid post to say so. X's Paid Partnership label is how it says it: a mark on the post itself, turned on in the composer with the flag icon and then Content Disclosure, either while writing the post or after it has gone up. The builder turns it on for every pinned post and post sold here, and confirms they have done it when they mark the placement live. A banner is not a post, so it has no label: the artwork carries the sponsored tag and the builder adds the disclosure line to their bio. Some regions also expect the word 'ad' in the text, which the builder is free to add. The rule itself is X's, and it is set out in their Paid Partnerships Policy.
