Everyone's posting their Opus 5.5 vs GPT-6 Astra bakeoff this week. Fun to read. But no customer has ever asked which model wrote the code. Pick one, ship the thing, and spend the bakeoff hours talking to buyers. Distribution is the product.

Late thought: Claude Haiku 5.5 being 75% cheaper than Haiku 4.5 changes the free-tier math for small products. The AI feature you were scared to give away might now cost pennies per user. Give it away, and charge for the outcome instead.

Honest question for Claude Max users: have you claimed your Claude Max API credits yet? Anthropic's own pitch is literally "build something with your credits." What's the first thing you'll build? If a customer won't touch it, pick again.
